As a printing company that uses paper as its main raw material, we need to ensure that our most needed resource is not exhausted.<\/p>\n

It was from the need for this guarantee of environmental conservation and responsible forest management that we established guidelines for the FSC\u00ae<\/sup> Chain of Custody Certification (FSC-C141815), which was awarded to us in October 2013 by SQS-Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems, having been transferred in September 2015 to the certifying entity APCER - Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Portuguesa de Certifica\u00e7\u00e3o, and subsequently, in 2018, to the certifying entity SGS Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale de Surveillance SA.<\/p>\n

We have voluntarily committed to adopting responsible production practices, purchasing certified paper from responsibly managed forests that offer environmental, social and economic benefits.<\/p>\n

Our customers are assured that by choosing to print on FSC\u00ae<\/sup> certified material, they are contributing to the sustainable exploitation of forests, in harmony with the environment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Policy for the association with FSC\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n

    The management of EG21<\/strong> with FSC\u00ae<\/sup> license number FSC-C141815 jointly declare that in accordance with the Policy for Association of Organizations with the FSC\u00ae<\/sup> (FSC-POL-01-004), EG21<\/strong> it is not directly or indirectly involved in the following activities:<\/p>\n

    a) Illegal logging or illegal trade in forest or timber products.
    \nb) Violation of traditional and human rights in forestry operations.
    \nc) Destruction of high conservation value attributes in forestry operations.
    \nd) Significant conversion of forests to plantations or non-forest use.
    \ne) Introduction of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations.
    \nf) Violation of any of the ILO Conventions (ILO Core Conventions) as defined in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, 1998.<\/p>\n

    In accordance with this last paragraph, EG21<\/strong> further undertakes:<\/p>\n

    i. Not to use child labour.
    \nii. To eliminate all forms of forced and compulsory labour.
    \niii. To ensure that there is no discrimination in work and occupation.
    \niv. To respect freedom of association and the effective right to collective bargaining.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
